Suno has rolled out version 5.5 of its AI music-generation platform, featuring significant upgrades designed for greater personalization. Unlike previous versions that prioritized enhanced sound quality and more authentic singing voices, v5.5 centers on giving users deeper creative influence.
Key Features in Suno v5.5
- Voices: Arguably the most anticipated feature, Voices lets you train the AI to mimic your own singing style. Users can upload clean acapellas, tracks with backing music, or record vocals using their device. A spoken verification phrase is required to prevent unauthorized use of others’ voices, although AI-generated celebrity voice models might still pose a challenge.
- Custom Models: This feature allows users to upload at least six songs from their collection to create a personalized model that can influence new tracks generated by the AI. After naming their custom model, users can guide v5.5 to better reflect their unique sound.
- My Taste: My Taste adapts to your listening habits by learning your favorite genres, moods, and artists over time. When generating new music, the platform automatically applies these preferences for a more personalized experience.
