Spotify’s AI DJ now supports French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese

Spotify has rolled out its interactive AI DJ service in four new languages: French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. Previously, this feature was only available to users who spoke English or Spanish.

Personalized AI DJ Experience

Each of the new language versions comes with its own uniquely named and styled AI DJ—Maia, Ben, Alex, and Dani—to personalize the music selection and commentary experience. Users can interact with these DJs to request songs, receive spoken insights, and even change their music mood or genre with voice or text commands.

Wider Global Availability

The latest update also brings the AI DJ to more countries, including Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, and Switzerland. With this expansion, Spotify's AI DJ is now accessible in over 75 countries worldwide.

Continual Feature Improvements

Spotify’s AI DJ has grown from merely offering commentary on tracks to enabling interactive conversations and customization. Over the past year, Spotify added the ability to make requests using both voice and text, letting users tailor their playlists in real-time—similar to popular AI chatbots.
