Getting Verified with the Orb
To earn verified human status, users must visit a World orb in person. The orb scans your face and eyes, then securely encrypts and stores this information on your phone, keeping user control in mind. After successful verification, users can link their World ID to supported apps and receive a special badge – for example, Tinder profiles get a verified human mark. As an incentive, Tinder is offering five free boosts for a limited time to users who complete the verification process through World ID.
