Recent leaks have unveiled the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Glasses, a new contender in the smart eyewear market aiming to rival Ray-Ban Meta's offerings. Shared images show a design that closely mirrors Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses.

These glasses, internally called "Jinju," are expected to debut later this year. Reports indicate a price range between $379 and $499, positioning them alongside the display-free Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2. Key specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 processor, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX681 camera, 155mAh battery, and bone conduction speakers—though this model will not include a built-in display.

Future Plans: Premium Model with Micro-LED

Samsung is also working on a premium pair of smart glasses, code-named "Haean," targeting a 2027 release. This advanced version is rumored to feature a micro-LED display and a price point between $600 and $900, competing directly with more advanced Meta Ray-Ban models.

While the Galaxy Glasses could debut during Google I/O, it's possible Samsung may announce them at a later Unpacked event. Previous announcements hinted at a collaboration with Google and featured Android XR support, paving the way for wearable tech innovations from both companies.
