Meta acquires AI device startup Limitless
Meta is absorbing Limitless, the startup best known for its wearable pendant that constantly recorded meetings and conversations to build a searchable memory. The deal means Limitless will stop selling new hardware and will focus on helping Meta push deeper into AI wearables.
In its announcement, the Limitless team explains that the idea of small always on recorders went from strange experiment to obvious next step in personal computing. Limitless brings experience in compressing audio, turning messy daily life into structured memory and experimenting with new human computer interfaces.
