Former MrBeast Exec Sues Over ‘Years’ of Alleged Harassment

Background of the Lawsuit

Lorrayne Mavromatis, a former executive at Beast Industries, has filed a lawsuit against Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s company, alleging she and other women endured repeated harassment and were subject to a hostile, male-dominated work environment. According to the lawsuit, Mavromatis claimed she experienced unwanted sexual comments and advances, particularly from the company’s former CEO, James Warren, who is also related to Donaldson. She described being asked to attend meetings at Warren’s home where inappropriate remarks were made about her appearance.

Alleged Retaliation and Termination

Mavromatis reported the alleged harassment to Sue Parisher, then head of HR and Donaldson's mother. She states that her complaints led to no action, and instead, she was demoted and eventually fired soon after returning from maternity leave. The lawsuit also notes that the company lacked a formal employee handbook during her employment and tolerated an unprofessional culture, as reflected in internal documents encouraging “childish” behavior and minimizing the importance of working conditions.

Company Response

Beast Industries has firmly rejected Mavromatis’s claims. In a statement, spokesperson Gaude Paez described the allegations as "deliberate misrepresentations" and asserted that the company possesses substantial evidence, including digital communications and documents, contradicting the claims. The company vows to contest the lawsuit in court.

Previous Issues

This isn’t the first time MrBeast’s operations have faced legal scrutiny. In 2024, contestants from the Beast Games reality show alleged mistreatment and harassment.
